Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Technical Support Associate – SOLIDWORKS to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 6 months of experience using SOLIDWORKS. The role involves providing technical support, training, and implementation services for SOLIDWORKS and its affiliated products, including Simulation and PDM, across a range of customer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality technical support for SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio of solutions in alignment with product standards and SLAs.
- Conduct on-site and remote training and implementation of SOLIDWORKS solutions.
- Travel to customer sites for support, training sessions, and proactive visits within the assigned territory.
- Understand customer usage and challenges with SOLIDWORKS products, offering best practices, productivity tips, and technical recommendations.
- Write and publish technical blogs, articles, and screen capture tutorials for the organization’s technical knowledge base.
- Act as the primary technical contact for assigned customers and assist in assessing suitable applications of SOLIDWORKS tools.
- Support internal non-technical teams by providing product knowledge and technical insights.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities using CRM and helpdesk systems.
- Continuously train and upskill yourself on SOLIDWORKS products and features to deliver excellent service.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Resolution of technical support tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Customer satisfaction ratings and feedback on support interactions.
- Completion of proactive visits as per assigned targets.
- Contributions to internal knowledge base (blogs, tutorials, articles).
- Initiatives taken to improve customer experience and technical engagement.
Desired Profile:
- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- 0 to 6 months of hands-on experience using SOLIDWORKS (academic or professional).
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must own a reliable two-wheeler with a valid driver’s license for travel.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory for customer visits and support activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an eagerness to learn and grow in a technical support role.
