About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our users, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey with Recruitroo. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with onboarding new users, and acting as a customer advocate to relay feedback to our product and engineering teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely within the European timezone, contributing directly to our mission of simplifying global hiring processes. The successful candidate will embody empathy, professionalism, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of relevant experience and skills, including:
- At least 2 years of experience in customer support, preferably within SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, demonstrating clarity, friendliness, and professionalism.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve product-related issues efficiently.
- Experience using support tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, remote setting.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRTech solutions, recruitment workflows, and basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or web-based products. Experience working in remote or asynchronous teams across different time zones is also advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support & Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and occasional phone support, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Diagnose technical problems and guide users through solutions with patience and empathy.
- Onboarding & Education: Assist new users during platform setup and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of platform features. Develop and update comprehensive help documentation, FAQs, and knowledge-base content to empower users and reduce support queries.
- Customer Advocacy: Collect and analyze user feedback to identify recurring issues or feature requests. Communicate insights effectively to product and engineering teams, advocating for customer needs and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Account Management Assistance: Support the account management team with tasks such as usage checks, renewal reminders, and proactive outreach to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to relay customer challenges, needs, and expectations. Contribute to a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing the overall user experience.
