About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Agent to join our team remotely from anywhere in India. This role involves managing customer interactions via web chat, email, and social media platforms, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism. This is a full-time contractor position offering competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on client requirements. The role requires a minimum of 36 hours per week, with potential overtime, and necessitates having a laptop or PC with a minimum 15-inch screen for seamless operation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least four years of experience in customer service. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, along with excellent typing skills and the ability to respond to at least 12 tickets per hour. Candidates must be highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. A positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to work various shifts, including night shifts, are crucial. Candidates should also demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer care and be willing to work during public holidays and weekends as required.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer queries across multiple channels such as web chat, emails, and social media in accordance with company procedures.
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the Team Leader and Operations team promptly.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Work flexibly within assigned shifts, which may include evening, night, or weekend hours, based on the schedule provided by the client.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally, politely, and efficiently.
- Probe and troubleshoot customer issues, providing satisfactory solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate team members or supervisors.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators such as response time, resolution efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, internal processes, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals and improve service quality.
