Role Description
- As a Customer Service Associate (CSA) at our Skechers store in Vijayawada, you will be the face of the brand — creating memorable in-store experiences, guiding customers to their perfect pair, and contributing to a high-performing store team. This is a role for someone who loves people, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow in a dynamic retail environment. Act as the face of the Skechers brand, delivering exceptional in-store customer experiences
- Warmly greet and engage customers to understand their needs, preferences, and buying intent
- Guide customers through product selection, including sizing, fit, style, and comfort features
- Provide personalized recommendations based on customer lifestyle, usage, and occasion
- Clearly explain product features, technologies, and care instructions with confidence
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell accessories such as socks, insoles, and care products
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism, empathy, and prompt resolution
- Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat visits and long-term loyalty
- Actively contribute to store sales targets and achieve individual KPIs
- Stay updated on latest Skechers product lines, technologies, and seasonal launches
- Maintain a proactive and results-driven approach on the sales floor
- Ensure high visual merchandising standards, including display organization, pricing, and signage
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandise transfers
- Assist in stockroom organization and timely handling of incoming shipments
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure the floor is always customer-ready
- Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive, high-energy store environment
- Support onboarding and guidance of new team members
- Adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and operational best practices
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced retail setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+2 (HSC) or graduate in any discipline
- 0–2 years of experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles (freshers are welcomed)
- Strong customer service and customer support skills
- Ability to ensure high customer satisfaction and deliver a positive customer experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Telugu and English
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, concerns, and problem resolution effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle moderate stock
- Familiarity with CRM tools, POS/billing systems, and customer service best practices is a plus
- Prior experience in footwear, apparel, or fashion retail is preferred
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed targets is an advantage
- Residents of Vijayawada are preferred
