About the Role
Based out of our Hitech City office, you'll be the voice and support backbone of Avaan Excess — handling customer interactions across calls, emails, and messaging platforms, coordinating with vendor partners, and converting inbound leads into bookings. This is a high-energy role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, round-the-clock logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from domestic and international customers — answering queries on shipment rates, transit timelines, and booking processes
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and logistics partners to ensure accurate, real-time shipment tracking and timely updates to customers
- Manage and resolve customer escalations via email and WATI (WhatsApp Business), ensuring swift, empathetic, and satisfactory resolution
- Generate and convert bookings from inbound leads — understand customer requirements and pitch the most suitable shipping solution
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, bookings, and escalations in internal systems
What We're Looking For
- Graduate in any stream; prior experience in BPO, travel, logistics, or customer support preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication in English; Telugu and/or Hindi is an advantage
- Comfortable handling both voice (calls) and non-voice (email, WATI/WhatsApp) channels
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with rotational shifts and rotational week-offs
- Good coordination skills for working with third-party vendor teams
- Sales-oriented mindset — capable of identifying customer needs and closing bookings from leads
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with CRM or ticketing tools is a plus
