About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our passionate team at Codingal’s Bangalore office. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience for our students, parents, and teachers. As a Customer Service Associate, you will act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, technical support, and scheduling needs. Your role involves providing timely assistance via chat, email, and phone, handling escalation tickets, and managing class schedules efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, including the founders, and contribute directly to our mission of spreading coding literacy among K-12 students.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in any field. While a background in computer science or IT is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Strong fluency in English communication is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates should be available to work from our office in HSR Layout, Bangalore, as this is an in-person role with no remote work options. Prior experience in customer service or support roles is preferred but not required; a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers are key. Candidates should be comfortable handling multiple tasks, managing escalations effectively, and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Offer technical support to parents and teachers, guiding them through platform features and troubleshooting technical problems.
- Manage customer interactions across multiple channels, including chat, email, and phone, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Handle escalation tickets efficiently, ensuring customer concerns are resolved satisfactorily.
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage student classes to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and support tickets for future reference and analysis.
