Role Description
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team in Mumbai. This is a critical role within LaBante London; you will be the primary voice of our brand, ensuring our global community of conscious consumers receives premium, empathetic service.
You will manage the end-to-end customer journey, from high-level product inquiries to complex backend order fulfillment using Shopify.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Advocacy: Manage all incoming customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media with a high level of empathy and brand alignment.
- Shopify Expert Operations: Process orders, handle global returns/exchanges, and manage inventory levels directly within the Shopify backend.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Resolve shipping delays, tracking issues, and product queries efficiently, maintaining our 5-star service reputation.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Communicate our "Kindness in Style" mission clearly, educating customers on our plant-based materials and sustainability efforts.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with our logistics and warehouse teams (UK/US) to ensure timely delivery and accurate order processing.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Customer Service, specifically for an E-commerce or D2C brand.
- Shopify Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the Shopify backend (order management, apps, and customer profiles) is strictly required.
- Location: Must be based in Mumbai.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills are a non-negotiable requirement for our international market.
