Role Overview :
The Customer Sales Support Executive will be responsible for supporting the sales and operations team by coordinating with clients, handling shipment-related queries, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, shipping lines, transporters, and internal departments. The role requires strong coordination skills and basic knowledge of logistics and import/export operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Customer Coordination & Support
- Handle customer inquiries related to shipments, documentation, pricing, and service updates.
- Provide timely responses and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate with clients regarding shipment schedules, container movement, and delivery status.
- Assist the sales team in client servicing and follow-ups.
2. Sales Support
- Prepare quotations, rate sheets, and customer proposals.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales pipelines.
- Support the sales team in achieving business targets.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers for business updates.
3. Documentation & MIS Reporting
- Maintain shipment records, invoices, and customer documentation.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of import/export transactions.
- Update CRM and internal tracking systems regularly.
4. Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with operations, transporters, CHA, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams.
- Track shipment movement and resolve operational delays.
- Ensure smooth coordination for import/export cargo handling.
5. Client Query Resolution
- Address customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
- Escalate critical issues to concerned departments when required.
- Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Skills Required :
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of logistics and import/export processes
- Customer handling and relationship management
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Problem-solving and follow-up skills
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics/customer support/sales coordination
- Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, CFS, CHA, or transport industry preferred
