Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

Role Overview
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for configuring, managing, and supporting internal IT systems, business applications, and automations. The role focuses on executing system configurations and automations based on defined business requirements, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient workflows across CRM, HRMS, LMS, email, and third-party tools.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Network Administration
• Configure and maintain routers, LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for uptime, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Manage basic network security and access controls.
• Maintain IT hardware and system inventory.
CRM & Business Applications Management
• Configure CRM systems as per approved business and operational requirements.
• Manage:
• Users, roles, profiles, and permissions
• Pipelines, stages, modules, and custom fields
• Set up basic workflows, alerts, and automations.
• Ensure CRM data hygiene, access control, and audit readiness.
(CRMs may include Zoho CRM, LeadSquared, or similar platforms.)
Automation & Integration (Zapier / No-Code Tools)
• Implement Zapier / no-code automations to connect CRM, HRMS, LMS, email, and internal tools.
• Automate:
• Lead capture and assignment flows
• Form CRM notification workflows
• Status updates, alerts, and task creation
• Monitor automations for failures and performance issues.
• Document automation logic and ensure controlled access to automation tools.
Internal Tools & Access Management
• Manage user accounts and permissions for:
• Email systems (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365)
• CRM, HRMS, LMS, Drive, and internal platforms
• Ensure role-based access and timely onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain access audit logs and compliance standards.
Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide first-level IT and system support.
• Troubleshoot issues related to:
• Logins and permissions
• CRM workflows and automations
• System integrations
• Escalate advanced issues to vendors or consultants when required.
Documentation & Process Control
• Maintain SOPs for:
• System configuration
• CRM workflows
• Zapier automations and integrations
• Keep documentation updated for business continuity and audits.
Tools & Platforms
• CRM: Zoho CRM / LeadSquared / similar
• Automation: Zapier (required), Make / Zoho Flow (good to have)
• Email: Google Workspace / Microsoft 365
• Networking: Routers, LAN, Wi-Fi
• Tracking: MS Excel / Google Sheets
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with CRM configuration and automation
• Working knowledge of Zapier or no-code automation tools
• Understanding of API concepts, webhooks (basic level)
• Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into system execution
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduation in IT / Computer Science / related field
• Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or service-based organizations
• Exposure to Zoho ecosystem and integrations is a plus
