About the RoleWe are looking for a highly execution-focused Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) Associate to own and scale user communication journeys across push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and in-app engagement channels.
This role sits at the intersection of growth, retention, analytics, and product. You will work closely with Growth, Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering teams to improve user activation, engagement, retention, resurrection, and monetization through lifecycle marketing.
The ideal candidate understands consumer internet products, has hands-on experience with CRM automation tools like CleverTap, and can independently execute campaigns with strong attention to detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesLifecycle Campaign Execution- Execute and manage lifecycle campaigns across:
- Push Notifications
- SMS
- WhatsApp
- RCS
- In-app messages
- Email (optional)
- Build and maintain automated user journeys and engagement flows in CleverTap
- Create segmentation logic based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, engagement, and monetization patterns
- Schedule, QA, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns
User Lifecycle ManagementOwn communication journeys across:
- New user onboarding
- Activation and first value realization
- Free-to-paid conversion
- Retention and habit building
- Payer engagement
- Resurrection and win-back
- Subscription renewal / wallet recharge nudges
- Feature adoption campaigns
Campaign Optimization- Improve CTRs, conversions, retention, and revenue metrics through experimentation
- Run A/B tests on:
- Copy
- Timing
- Audience segmentation
- Channel selection
- Personalization
- Monitor campaign performance and derive actionable insights
Analytics & Reporting- Track campaign performance metrics including:
- Delivery rates
- Open rates
- CTR
- Conversion rates
- Revenue uplift
- Retention impact
- Uninstall and opt-out rates
- Create weekly and monthly CRM performance reports
- Identify lifecycle leaks and recommend interventions
Cross-functional Collaboration- Work closely with Product, Growth, Analytics, and Design teams
- Coordinate with Engineering for event tracking and campaign integrations
- Ensure all lifecycle communication aligns with product and business goals
RequirementsMust-Have Skills- 1–4 years of experience in CRM / CLM / Retention Marketing / Lifecycle Marketing
- Hands-on experience with CleverTap
- Strong understanding of:
- Push notifications
- SMS campaigns
- WhatsApp campaigns
- RCS communication
- User segmentation
- Automated journeys
- Experience working with consumer internet, gaming, fintech, social, or subscription apps
- Strong execution and operational rigor
- Good analytical thinking and comfort with metrics
- Excellent written communication skills

- Familiarity with SQL and Mixpanel
- Experience in B2C start-ups/companies
- Understanding of funnels, cohorts, retention, and growth metrics
