Customer Data Specialist (SAP & SMAX Operations)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Data Specialist with strong expertise in SAP and SMAX systems, service master data governance, and logistics/warehouse coordination. The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end accuracy of service data, Installed Base (IB) management, work orders, and seamless SAP–SMAX integration.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain SMAX service contracts, parts, technicians, and stocking locations
Manage SAP customer and technician master data setup
Handle Installed Base (IB) creation, updates, and decommissioning in SAP and SMAX
Execute scheduled and unscheduled work order creation in SMAX
Process customer master change requests and ensure data consistency across SAP & SMAX
Perform new IB setup with location configuration in SAP/SMAX
Conduct ATP (Available-to-Promise) checks for service and parts availability
Manage SW version updates and system configuration changes
Ensure governance and accuracy of SMAX part and service master data
Handle transportation planning, warehouse coordination, and shipment lifecycle tracking
Reconcile shipment records (dispatch vs receipt, freight vs contracted rates) and resolve discrepancies
Work with ERP/TMS/WMS tools and vendor portals (SAP S/4, SAP TM/EWM, Oracle, Manhattan, Ariba, e-invoicing)
Support continuous improvement, SOP updates, and process standardization
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in SAP and SMAX operations
Experience in service order lifecycle, Installed Base (IB), and master data management
Exposure to logistics operations: transportation, warehouse, shipment tracking
ERP/TMS/WMS system experience (SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM/EWM, Oracle, Manhattan, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work in US shift timings
