As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural framework of custom software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of design and delivery, ensuring that development practices meet established standards. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the complexities of software engineering initiatives and driving successful outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and middleware technologies related to SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures within cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide robust solutions.
- Familiarity with API management, event-driven architectures, and process orchestration.
- Competence in collaborating with diverse technical teams to deliver cohesive software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
