As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position emphasizes establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the workflow and fostering an environment where innovative solutions can thrive.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.
- Experience with cloud-based machine learning model deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques within cloud environments.
- Ability to design scalable machine learning pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with integrating machine learning solutions into enterprise software architectures.
- Competence in monitoring and optimizing model performance in production settings.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
