Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all related activities. The position demands coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions that meet project requirements. The engineer actively oversees progress, addresses challenges, and ensures that the applications are tailored to meet the evolving needs of the organization and its stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration techniques related to SAP environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Familiarity with integration processes and data flow management in large-scale software implementations.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
