Project Role : Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Online Banking and Mobile Banking platforms.
Validate end to end digital banking journeys including login, onboarding, payments, transfers, cards, accounts, loans, and customer servicing features.
Execute testing across web browsers, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and backend integrations.
Ensure compliance with banking standards, security controls, and regulatory guidelines during testing.
Defect Management & Triage
Log, track, and manage defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Perform defect triaging with business, development, and product teams to ensure timely resolution.
Validate defect fixes and conduct re testing and regression testing as required.
Analyze defect trends and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Test Design & Test Data Management
Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to derive test scenarios and test cases.
Create, manage, and maintain test data aligned to business scenarios and edge cases.
Support test environment readiness and coordinate data refreshes when required.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and dependencies.
Test Reporting & Communication
Prepare and present test progress reports, defect dashboards, and quality status to project and leadership stakeholders.
Communicate risks, issues, and test coverage clearly and proactively.
Support release readiness assessments and go live decisions

- Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work with cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Mobile and Tablet Applications Testing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
