Summary: Implementation Activation Specialist The Digital Implementation Support and Activation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful rollout, configuration, and ongoing support of the digital tools customers rely on to test and manage their O Series environments. The consultant specialist would work directly with customers by connecting their Vertex product, configuration and testing. They will also serve the liaison between Innovation and the O Series platform, this role helps organizations achieve compliance, efficiency, and scalability in their tax operations. The specialist also plays a key role in supporting e invoicing activations. This position strengthens Global Professional Services by supporting successful project delivery and driving client adoption of Vertex solutions. Through hands on operational support and strategic partnership with internal and external teams, the role contributes directly to revenue growth, profitability, and enhanced customer value. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and testing of O Series Supports digital tools for clients. Act as the primary point of coordination between US Practice Leads, Innovation, and the O Series platform. Ensure clients achieve compliance, operational efficiency, and scalable tax processes. Support e invoicing activations, including understanding format requirements and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate closely with U.S. Practice Leads to support project success and client satisfaction. Manage a portfolio of up to 10 concurrent projects, maintaining high quality communication and execution across all engagements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor s degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience. Basic knowledge of VAT and SUT (preferred). Demonstrated technical proficiency in API concepts, integration, and troubleshooting Solid understanding of API technologies and their role in system integration Foundational understanding of tax functionality, common business practices, and best practices in process automation. Awareness of common issues in automation and e invoicing format requirements. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non technical teams. Additional Focus Area: E Invoicing In addition to core responsibilities, this role directly contributes to e invoicing readiness and activation by supporting clients through implementation, testing, and adoption of required digital tools, ensuring compliance with evolving e invoicing regulations.
