Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer and Senior Integration Analyst, this role focuses on designing, developing, and migrating tailored software and integration solutions to meet specific business needs. The position plays a key role in the POSDM to CAR migration, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale interface migrations across test and production environments. The role requires independent ownership, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contribution as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals and user expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform independently and grow into an SME for assigned systems, integrations, and processes.
- Design, develop, and enhance custom software and integration components.
- Actively participate and contribute in team discussions, design reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and provide effective solutions to work-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and implement integration and software requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing software and interface components to improve performance, reliability, and stability.
- Support the POSDM to CAR interface migration across test and production environments.
- Own end-to-end delivery of interface migration activities, including validation of existing interfaces.
- Manually align test and production configurations and set up integration partners.
- Perform end-to-end connectivity testing and support large-scale interface migration (190+ interfaces per environment).
- Identify, analyze, and resolve migration and integration issues during deployment phases.
- Document technical specifications, integration flows, and development processes for knowledge sharing.
- Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members as required.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Experience with integration patterns and middleware solutions related to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues effectively.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work with APIs, data transformation, and message routing within B2B integration environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
