As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to continuously improve and adapt solutions to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software development activities with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle GoldenGate.
- Strong knowledge of data replication and real-time data integration techniques.
- Experience with troubleshooting and optimizing data synchronization processes.
- Familiarity with database management systems and performance tuning.
- Ability to work with distributed systems and ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to support deployment and monitoring tasks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle GoldenGate.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
