As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure that software solutions are tailored effectively to support organizational objectives and operational workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software customization.
- Document configuration changes and maintain accurate records to support audit and compliance needs.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
- Continuously monitor and improve configuration processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aprimo Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Experience with software configuration and customization techniques related to digital asset management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues.
- Familiarity with business process design and how it integrates with software application requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Attention to detail in managing configuration documentation and version control.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Aprimo Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
