Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements, either managing the entire process or focusing on particular stages within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. The position demands continuous collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure that software solutions align with business needs and project goals, while also adapting to evolving technical challenges and opportunities throughout the development cycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with integration of software tools and platforms within product lifecycle management environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable software.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
