Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to create scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software you develop aligns with the overall project goals and enhances user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the documentation of software specifications and design.
- Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with database management and optimization techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software defects efficiently.
- Must have proficient knowledge of IDOC developments and processing
- Must have knowledge on Web Dynpro developments
- Knowledge on Job scheduling, processing and analyzing the cancelled jobs
- Strong understanding of Module pool programs
- Good to have ECC upgrade experience or HANA migrations
- Must have knowlege on interface developments - File based, IDOCS.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
