Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghatkopar, focused on custom clearance documentation for ocean export and import shipments. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and organizing all necessary customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and declarations, to ensure timely clearance of cargo. The position requires coordinating with customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve documentation queries and maintain regulatory compliance. The team member will track shipments, update systems, maintain accurate records, and communicate status updates to stakeholders. The role also involves staying current with customs regulations, supporting process improvements, and ensuring that documentation standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Customs Brokerage and related clearance processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Export, Import, and Import Export procedures and documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should have knowledge of ocean freight operations and basic international trade regulations.
- Candidates should have attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office and documentation systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance; a relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
