Objectives
To support end-to-end custody operations including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and client servicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of transactions in line with regulatory and client requirements. This role is designed to build strong domain expertise, attention to detail, and ownership mindset while contributing to seamless transaction processing and superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities 1. Trade Settlement & Processing • Handle trade lifecycle activities (pre & post-settlement) • Ensure timely settlement of trades across domestic markets • Coordinate with clearing corporations, depositories, and counterparties 2. Reconciliation & Reporting • Perform daily reconciliation of holdings, cash, and transactions • Identify and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines • Generate MIS and client reports 3. Corporate Actions • Track and process corporate action events (dividends, bonus, splits, etc.) • Ensure accurate allocation and reporting to clients 4. Client Servicing • Address client queries related to holdings, transactions, and settlements • Maintain strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders 5. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (SEBI, Exchanges, Depositories) • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails 6. Process Improvement • Identify process gaps and suggest automation/improvements • Support team in enhancing operational efficiency
Eligibility Criteria • Education: M.Com / PGDM / MBA (Finance) • Experience: 6 -12 years in Custody / Capital Markets / Operations
Key Skills Required • Basic understanding of capital markets & custody operations • Knowledge of trade lifecycle & settlement processes • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills • Good communication and coordination ability • Proficiency in MS Excel Preferred Skills • Knowledge of NSDL/CDSL, clearing corporations • Exposure to corporate actions & reconciliation tools • Prior experience in financial services / custody / fund accounting What We Offer • Opportunity to work with a leading financial services firm • Strong learning & growth environment • Exposure to end-to-end capital market operations • Performance-driven culture
