About Tinker Village
Tinker Village is an early-stage Education Technology startup pioneering Curriculum-integrated Hands-on Experiential Learning and Skills/Competency-based Education. We design innovative Science and Mathematics programs that enable learners in Primary and Middle School classrooms to explore, investigate, and make sense of the world around them through hands-on, experiential activities and deep inquiry. Our programs are rooted in the belief that children learn best by doing, and we focus on building core thinking and learning skills through inquiry, reflection, creativity, and problem-solving.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Curriculum and Assessment Associate to help design and strengthen high-quality, hands-on Science and Maths learning experiences. This includes shaping how learners engage with scientific ideas, developing creative and inquiry-driven activities, and ensuring that each experience is academically sound, age-appropriate, and classroom-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design of hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences for Grades 1–8.
- Ensure alignment of experiences with curriculum goals, concepts, and learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the creation of student-facing content (like inquiry journals, learning assessments etc.) and teacher support materials (like lesson plans, activity demos, assessment reports etc.)
- Support in designing Concept Mastery and Skills based Assessment tools to track concepts understanding and skill development of students.
- Work closely with other teams (design, procurement & operations etc.) to ensure that each learning experience is designed to wow the Students and Teachers!
- Design & conduct teacher training to up-skill educators on Experiential Learning and Skills based Education.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for learning and making Science & Maths concepts come to life in a tangible manner.
- Someone who’s a child at heart—curious, playful, and excited by how things work. Someone who can tinker around to translate learning Science and Maths concepts into impactful activities and hands-on experiments.
- Ability to collaborate across teams; design, prototyping, Operations to seamlessly translate ideas into tangible, impactful and thoughtful learning experiences.
Preferred Profile
- Has worked in a School, Education nonprofit, or curriculum role and understands how children learn.
- 2-5 years of Teaching or Curriculum Experience in IB/Cambridge/CBSE would be very useful.
- Excited to work in a fast paced exciting startup environment.
