In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Deliver reliable equipment performance by applying deep expertise in troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems—minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
Ensure the right tools, machinery, and resources are selected and used effectively by collaborating with cross-functional teams, increasing productivity and reducing errors.
Uphold strict safety standards by confidently working with electrical and industrial energy sources, proactively identifying hazards, and taking immediate action to prevent incidents.
Serve as a go-to technical resource and informal leader, coordinating team efforts, guiding less experienced colleagues, and strengthening overall team capability.
Adapt quickly to shifting production demands and changing manufacturing conditions, maintaining performance and helping the team stay on track under pressure.
Champion Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) excellence by reporting risks, using proper PPE, correcting hazards, and promoting a culture of accountability and environmental responsibility.
Drive quality by performing precise work aligned with technical documentation, supporting failure analysis, conducting inspections, and improving preventive maintenance systems.
Improve delivery and operational outcomes by scheduling maintenance strategically, reducing constraints, solving process issues, and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like TPM.
Responsibilities
To be successful, you will need to consistently demonstrate the following:
- Strong collaboration skills to build trust across teams, align on shared goals, and ensure work flows smoothly between operations, maintenance, and support functions.
- Clear and adaptable communication so you can explain technical issues, safety concerns, and solutions in ways that different audiences (operators, engineers, leadership) easily understand.
- A customer-focused mindset—treating internal stakeholders like customers by delivering reliable equipment performance and responsive support that keeps production running.
- Sound decision-making ability to assess situations quickly, balance risk, and choose actions that keep operations moving without compromising safety or quality.
- A results-driven approach that keeps you focused on completing maintenance, solving problems, and meeting production goals—even under pressure or tight timelines.
- The ability to manage complexity by diagnosing issues with multiple variables, interpreting data, and simplifying problems into actionable solutions.
- A commitment to continuous learning—experimenting, learning from failures, and staying adaptable as equipment, processes, and technologies evolve.
- A safety-first mindset and technical awareness—actively identifying hazards (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic), following safe practices, valuing diverse perspectives, and applying manufacturing knowledge to improve processes while maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment.
