Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Culinary Chef Trainer based in Mumbai. The Culinary Chef Trainer will be responsible for training kitchen staff, developing recipes, implementing standard operating procedures, and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation. Additional duties include overseeing food safety and hygiene adherence, assisting with menu innovation, and collaborating with the operations team to optimize kitchen efficiency. As a key contributor to the culinary team, the trainer will also provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the staff.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in recipe development, food preparation techniques, and culinary training
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to implement and manage standard operating procedures
- Effective communication and leadership skills for mentoring staff
- Experience in menu innovation and optimizing kitchen operations
- Team player with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Previous experience in the QSR or hospitality industry highly preferred
- Culinary certification or relevant professional qualifications would be an advantage
