Role Description The CTO (Startup) will lead the overall technology vision and execution for the company in a full-time remote role. This position is responsible for defining and implementing the technology roadmap, including the evolution of the product and related internal tools, platforms, and integrations. The CTO will oversee software development teams, set engineering best practices, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable architecture for all products and systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and business stakeholders, prioritizing technical initiatives, managing projects and sprints, and making strategic decisions on tools, infrastructure, and data management. The role also involves mentoring engineers, establishing quality standards, and continuously improving processes to support rapid experimentation, performance optimization, and long-term growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development experience, including building and scaling web-based platforms, dashboards, and integrations.
- Proven Product Development skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and feature roadmaps.
- Expertise in IT Strategy and Technology Architecture, particularly in designing secure, scalable, and data-driven systems.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including sprint planning, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of marketing technology, analytics, and CRM or lead management systems is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
