We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven technology leader to drive the technology strategy, architecture, scalability, and modernization of a next-generation Digital Transaction Banking platform.
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise banking platforms, cloud-native engineering, large-scale transformation programs, and modern banking architecture. The ideal candidate will combine strong domain expertise with hands-on engineering leadership and the ability to engage with CXOs, enterprise architects, regulators, and global banking customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive technology vision, enterprise architecture, and modernization roadmap for Digital Transaction Banking platforms.
- Lead architecture and engineering strategy across cloud-native and microservices-based banking platforms.
- Drive scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and high-availability initiatives.
- Partner with customer leadership teams on large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Lead architecture governance, solution reviews, and strategic technology decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Sales teams to support platform evolution and customer success.
- Drive enterprise cloud adoption, DevSecOps practices, API strategy, and integration frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership across J2EE and modern cloud-native technology ecosystems.
- Mentor senior architects and engineering leaders.
- Drive AI-led engineering transformation initiatives and adoption of AI-driven development practices.
Required Experience & Skills
- 25+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, architecture, and engineering delivery.
- Strong expertise in Digital Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Liquidity Management, or Corporate Banking platforms.
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade banking solutions in regulated environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containerization, DevSecOps, and enterprise integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with J2EE and modern engineering frameworks.
- Solid understanding of platform security, resiliency, observability, and high-availability systems.
- Experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing leadership capabilities.
- Experience working with global banking customers, product organizations, or BFSI technology firms preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- MBA or advanced technology/business certifications preferred.
