Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a CSSD Technician based in Chennai. The CSSD Technician will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Additional duties include ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols, assisting in operating room preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for healthcare procedures. Collaboration with the broader healthcare team to support surgical and clinical operations is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Decontamination and Sterilization processes
- Strong understanding of Infection Control procedures
- Experience working in an Operating Room or similar healthcare settings
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to sterilization procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a hospital environment
- Attention to detail to ensure equipment safety and compliance
- Relevant certification or diploma in CSSD or sterile processing (preferred)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting or healthcare facility is advantageous
