Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Technician role located in South Goa district. The CSSD Technician will be responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment and supplies. Other responsibilities include maintaining sterility standards, ensuring the operating room has properly sterilized instruments, and implementing infection control protocols to meet safety and regulatory compliance requirements. Collaboration with healthcare teams to maintain an efficient and safe environment will also be part of daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Decontamination and Sterilization processes
- Strong understanding of Infection Control procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with Operating Room equipment and protocols
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to hospital and surgical environments
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines
- Certification or training in CSSD or related healthcare services is preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team
