About Buffindia
Buffindia is a cigarette waste management and recycling company working with corporates, hotels, cafes, restaurants, industries, and institutions across India. We provide end-to-end cigarette waste collection, recycling, awareness, and impact reporting solutions while converting waste into sustainable products and environmental impact initiatives.
We are looking for a highly proactive individual who can identify, apply, manage, and curate CSR opportunities, sustainability partnerships, grants, and impact collaborations for Buffindia.
Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for identifying CSR opportunities, connecting with corporates and foundations, preparing applications and proposals, managing documentation, and building long-term sustainability partnerships aligned with Buffindia’s environmental and social impact mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify CSR opportunities, ESG collaborations, sustainability grants, and impact partnerships across India
- Apply for CSR projects, accelerator programs, sustainability challenges, awards, grants, and corporate partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with CSR heads, ESG teams, foundations, NGOs, and corporate decision-makers
- Curate and maintain a database of CSR leads, opportunities, and application deadlines
- Coordinate proposal submissions, presentations, documentation, and follow-ups
- Work closely with the founder and internal team to create customised CSR proposals and impact reports
- Research government schemes, environmental initiatives, and sustainability funding opportunities
- Support in partnership onboarding and relationship management
- Assist in creating presentations, impact narratives, and partnership decks
- Track ongoing applications, responses, approvals, and reporting requirements
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and proposal-writing skills
- Experience in CSR, ESG, sustainability, NGO partnerships, fundraising, grants, or business development
- Understanding of CSR frameworks and sustainability ecosystem in India
- Good research and networking capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, Excel/Google Sheets, presentations, and documentation
- Experience in environmental, waste management, recycling, or social impact sectors is a plus
Qualification
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Sustainability, Social Work, Communications, Business Development, or related fields
- 1–5 years experience preferred (Freshers with strong research and communication skills may also apply)
