About the role:
CRU is seeking an experienced professional in the Stainless Steel Raw Materials (SSRM) sector to join our Base & Battery Metals Business Unit. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in CRU's SSRM market services, with the potential to assume full ownership in the future.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the current SSRM market landscape, be able to identify and analyse future trends, and effectively communicate insights to clients. You will play a key role in shaping CRU's market outlook and expanding our industry presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with market participants, confidently present ideas, and contribute to discussions with senior external stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth research and provide analysis tailored to clients' business needs and challenges.
Develop CRU's short- and long-term views on the Nickel, Chrome, and Molybdenum markets by conducting primary research and leveraging intelligence from colleagues across the business.
Communicate insights effectively through well-reasoned, well-evidenced, and logical arguments
Build, maintain, and expand a strong industry network.
Manage and analyse data to extract meaningful insights for decision-makers.
Work closely with CRU's global team of analysts to build a highly effective and transparent research team, ensuring comprehensive market coverage for SSRM.
