About the team
Crstl’s founding team is comprised of experienced alums from Uber, Bain, Google, Square, OnDeck (ODF-5), and have raised a seed round from some of the leading investors in commerce and fintech like Mosaic General Partnership, and angels/investors who are executives at companies such as Village Global, On Deck, Uber, Faire, StitchFix, Stedi, Bonobos, Instagram, Google, Intuit, and others.

About the Role
As a Sr. EDI Analyst at Crstl, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. By joining our team, you will have a chance to help us grow our network of trading partners, build robust EDI-based systems and process to reliably trade data with them, and accelerate the growth of our integrations marketplace. You’ll also help us design and implement new feature capabilities to support our increasingly diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understanding and creating maps for EDI specifications (ANSI X12 standard, EDIFACT, etc)
2. Creating data mappings in JSON and JSONata
3. Testing EDI documents with trading partners
4. Setting up and maintaining EDI connections with trading partners using AS2, VAN, SFTP, etc.
5. Provide support and expertise with debugging errors

Additional Responsibilities

1. Interact directly with customers as needed
2. Experiment with the latest technologies such as generative AI.
3. (Eventually) build a team of junior EDI analysts
   

Key Qualifications

1. We’re looking for a motivated, high energy teammate who wants to have an impact.
2. Proven experience in the EDI domain, specifically in the supply chain subdomain (EDI 850, 856, 810, 846, etc.).
3. Proven experience understanding EDI specifications and building data mappings in JSON data format.
4. Excellent communication skills and a team player.

Additional Qualifications

1. Programming experience (preferably HTML and JavaScript).
