How You'll Work
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the hourly wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $19.48 - $25.00 per hour. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location

About The Role
You'll be the process backbone of a recruiting team working to bring qualified drivers on board across CRST.
This role touches every stage of the pre-employment process. You'll monitor background checks, drug screens and verifications, coordinate travel and logistics for incoming candidates, and keep team trackers current so everyone knows exactly where things stand. When something needs escalating, you catch it early and get it to the right person.
You'll also be a direct point of contact for candidates during one of the most important transitions in their job search. Clear, timely communication from you helps candidates feel supported and sets the tone for their experience with CRST.
What You'll Do
- Support a group of recruiters with daily process needs, application flow and recruiting reports
- Review incoming applications for completeness, verify basic qualifications and confirm accurate system tagging
- Monitor background checks, drug screens, VOEs and other pre-employment documentation; escalate issues to management as needed
- Complete document reviews and support final audits to confirm all pre-employment steps are met
- Communicate with candidates to collect missing items, confirm next steps and ensure a smooth experience through to their start date
- Maintain personal and team trackers to log candidate progress, flag missing information and track orientation status
- Coordinate candidate travel logistics including flights, rideshare and clinic appointments
- Partner with onboarding, safety, compliance and other internal teams to ensure candidates are ready to start
- Manage current candidate files while preparing documentation and system updates for upcoming start dates

What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail - you can review and track documentation accurately and spot inconsistencies
- Comfort working in applicant tracking systems and spreadsheets
- Clear, professional communication with both internal teams and candidates
- Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
Going The Extra Mile
- Two-year degree or applicable work experience with demonstrated success
- Familiarity with background checks, VOE or onboarding processes
- Experience supporting travel coordination, scheduling or candidate logistics
- Track record of working cross-functionally with teams like onboarding or compliance
