Qualifications
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, regulations, and long-term care guidelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate and positive attitude toward the elderly
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team
- Oversee all functions of the Nursing Department
- Collaborate closely with the Administrator and department leaders
- Ensure high-quality resident care and clinical compliance
- Monitor nursing practices, care plans, and assessments
- Promote residents’ rights, dignity, and quality of life
- Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing programs and developmental plans
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment
