Job Duties

  • Load or unload completed lift trucks according to bill of ladings.
  • Block the lift trucks to ensure trucks will not roll.
  • Use lift truck to pull parts from racking system and load and unload parts, rotators, crates, etc. according to bill of ladings.
  • Operate yard truck to position trailers at the dock doors.
  • Conduct pre-operational safety checks on lift trucks.
  • Build wooden containers with power tools as required.
  • Charge lift truck batteries as well as perform cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on lift trucks daily.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory system.
  • Pack parts and lift trucks to be prepared for shipping.
  • Comply with all applicable Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related work experience preferred.
