Position Summary

Crow Holdings seeks a seasoned private investment professional with a proven track record in developing industry expertise, establishing relationships, securing opportunities, underwriting and executing on non-real estate investments. This role is critical for driving both the strategic and operational aspects of Crow Holdings direct non-real estate investment activity. The role will be based in Dallas, TX reporting to the firm’s CEO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio aligned with strategic industry considerations, reflecting our firm’s broader reach, access, and market position
  • Focus on direct investing with activities based on the deployment of firm capital, as opposed to a fund management model
  • Initially invest in funds and direct minority investments developing relevant focus and expertise
  • Primary focus on mid and lower middle market opportunities
  • Collaborate extensively to build and enhance the firm’s presence within the private market landscape
  • Utilize a patient approach to develop the platform over time

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the investment community
  • Patient and deliberate decision-maker
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Driven to build an important business activity for the firm
  • Engaged in the broader Dallas business and civic community while maintaining national insights and connectivity
