Position: Hindi Language Consultant

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $7–$11/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Approximately 5 weeks, with potential extension

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week, fully asynchronous

Role Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated images and videos based on Hindi prompts to ensure accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance
• Provide detailed linguistic and cultural feedback to improve AI model understanding and output quality
• Identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI-generated content
• Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to test prompt effectiveness and output quality
• Document failure modes and inconsistencies to guide model refinement
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to enhance system behavior and cultural alignment

Ideal Qualifications

• Full professional fluency in Hindi and English
• Strong reading and writing proficiency in Hindi and Hinglish (Hindi written with English alphabet)
• Deep understanding of regional Hindi dialects, idioms, and expressions
• Familiarity with Hindi and Indian cultural, social, and linguistic diversity
• Awareness of current trends in Hindi and Indian media and popular culture
• Interest in generative AI and curiosity about how models visually interpret linguistic prompts
• Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
