The Ballast Control Operator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining vessel stability through ballast operations in support of safe offshore operations. This role requires prior BCO experience and the ability to work safely and effectively in an offshore environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor ballast control systems
- Maintain vessel stability during routine operations
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Communicate with supervisors and crew regarding ballast conditions
- Assist with required checks, documentation, and reporting
- Support safe offshore operations as part of the assigned crew

- Prior Ballast Control Operator experience required
- Offshore experience required
- Ability to work a 14/14 schedule
- Must be able to crew change out of Galliano, LA
- Strong understanding of ballast operations and vessel stability
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
- Valid offshore credentials preferred, as required by assignment
