**LOCATION: DUBAI INTERNATIONAL CITY GRAGON MART 1** **Cashier Job Responsibilities** 1. **Handle Cash Transactions**: Accurately and quickly process customer purchases, including handling various payment methods such as cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments. 2. **Maintain Cash Register System**: Ensure the proper functioning of the cash register and related systems, and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues. 3. **Manage Cash Flow**: Regularly count the cash drawer to ensure the accuracy of cash flow, preventing errors and losses. 4. **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, answer basic customer inquiries, and handle returns, exchanges, and other related matters. 5. **Invoice and Receipt Management**: Correctly issue and store invoices, receipts, and other important financial documents, ensuring every transaction is properly recorded. 6. **Inventory Management Support**: Assist with inventory management, including checking the accuracy of product barcodes and price tags. 7. **End-of-Day Settlement**: Perform cashier settlement at the end of each business day, and hand over daily sales data and cash deposits to the relevant supervisor. **Cashier Job Requirements** 1. **Educational Background**: High school diploma or higher, with basic knowledge of mathematics and finance. 3. **Technical Skills**: Proficient in using cash register systems and POS machines, and familiar with basic electronic payment methods. 4. **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus. 5. **Attention to Detail**: Highly responsible and detail-oriented, capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. 6. **Communication Skills**: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively handle customer complaints and inquiries. 7. **Teamwork**: Strong team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently.
