Position Summary
The Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator will assist the Director of Student Recruitment in supporting activities related to the admissions process. The goal is to ensure full enrollment according to the school’s plan and the Cristo Rey Network standards. The Coordinator is a key member of the Department of Recruitment & Enrollment, supporting the development of the processes and procedures established by the Director of Student Recruitment and Enrollment.
What You’ll Do
Recruitment & Community Outreach
- Coordinates recruitment efforts in Catholic parishes through pulpit announcements, bulletin announcements, tabling events, and parish relationships.
- Represents Cristo Rey Fort Worth at school fairs, community events, and information sessions.
- Helps organize admissions events such as open houses, shadow days, family nights, and tours.
Family & Applicant Support
- Assists families with completing the student application and admissions requirements.
- Responds promptly to inquiries about Cristo Rey Fort Worth through phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Provides reminders to families regarding required testing, interview dates, deadlines, and next steps.
- Guides accepted families through the enrollment process from acceptance to registration.
- Provides excellent customer service and hospitality to all prospective families.
Application & Document Management
- Assists families with completing the student application and admissions requirements.
- Collects, reviews, and organizes required admissions documents, including:
- Report cards and transcripts
- State testing results (STAAR)
- Income verification documents
- Teacher recommendations
- Ensures teacher recommendations are submitted on time.
- Tracks missing documents and follows up with families regularly.
- Gathers final transcripts and report cards for enrolled students.
- Maintains accurate student records in the admissions database.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicates regularly with prospective families regarding application status.
- Assists with scheduling student interviews, testing dates, tours, and family meetings.
Who You Are
- Availability to work evenings and weekends during peak recruitment season (September–April).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is required (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Google Suite Plus, but not a requirement.
- Customer service mindset with warmth and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and confidential information.
- Experience in admissions, education, customer service, or community outreach preferred.
