Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Crewing Officer. Responsibilities include managing seafarer recruitment and deployment, overseeing crew operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring timely execution of crewing processes. The Crewing Officer will collaborate with ship management teams to meet operational needs effectively and coordinate communication between crews and management for seamless maritime operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Managing Crews and Crewing operations
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Operations Management and coordination
- Knowledge of Ship Management practices and maritime industry standards
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the maritime industry
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Previous experience in crewing or maritime operational roles is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in maritime management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
