Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a CREO Harness Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience, located in Hyderabad.
- The role involves designing and developing wiring harnesses using CREO, creating 2D and 3D harness models, and preparing detailed drawings and documentation. The engineer will interpret electrical schematics, collaborate with cross-functional design and engineering teams, and ensure that harness layouts meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Daily responsibilities include updating design revisions, resolving design issues, supporting prototyping and testing activities, and maintaining design data and configurations.
- The role also requires clear communication with internal stakeholders and participation in design reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in CREO (preferably Creo Schematics / Creo Harness) for 2D and 3D harness modeling, routing, and detailing.
- Experience in wiring harness design, cabling, and layout for industrial or transportation applications (Rail, Automotive, Wind, Aerospace etc.,).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings, with attention to industry standards and best practices.
- Knowledge of CAD tools and related engineering software, including basic understanding of PLM or data management systems.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, tolerance and fit, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to harness and cabling.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience in harness or cabling design
- Experience with rail or Aerospace projects is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and revisions.
