Role Description: The CREO Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad with 1 to 3 years of experience. This role involves creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in CREO, ensuring designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements. The CREO Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to interpret design inputs, perform design reviews, and integrate feedback into updated models and documentation. Daily tasks include preparing detailed assemblies, parts, and layouts, managing CAD data and version control, and supporting product design and engineering activities for rail, wind, and related projects. The role also requires maintaining design quality, adhering to project timelines, and coordinating with project leads to support successful delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in CREO (Parametric) and associated CAD tools, with experience in 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Solid foundation in mechanical/product design principles, including GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, customer requirements, and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of harness or cabling design, CAD standards, and engineering documentation practices (BOMs, change notes, etc.).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, design leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to take ownership of assigned design tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in rail, wind, or similar industrial sectors is an advantage; familiarity with PLM systems and design review tools is beneficial.
