Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team at Credo AI. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing our cutting-edge AI governance platform, which helps organizations shape AI development to the highest ethical standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern technologies such as Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL - Developing and optimizing complex data processing pipelines and APIs - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions - Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers - Ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our platform - Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and other engineering best practices To be successful in this role, you should have: - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in backend development - Proficiency in Python and other modern backend technologies (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django) - Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - A passion for building high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems - A strong interest in the field of AI governance and ethics
