The Manager – Risk Analytics position is designed for professionals who can take ownership of predictive-modeling engagements from initial problem definition through development, implementation, monitoring, governance, and stakeholder presentation. The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on analytical capabilities with project leadership, model-risk awareness, and the ability to review and guide the work of analysts or consultants.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫
✅ Direct the development, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of predictive risk models for Banking and Financial Services clients
✅ Select and apply appropriate statistical and machine-learning methodologies, including logistic regression, XGBoost, boosting, and bagging
✅ Use Python and SAS across data preparation, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model development, performance evaluation, and monitoring
✅ Establish monitoring frameworks covering model performance, stability, calibration, data quality, drift, and deterioration
✅ Oversee model-governance deliverables such as technical documentation, control assessments, validation support, review responses, and remediation tracking
✅ Convert business and risk requirements into clearly defined analytical approaches and practical recommendations
✅ Maintain control over project plans, timelines, analytical standards, quality reviews, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
✅ Lead, mentor, and review the work of approximately two to three analysts or consultants
✅ Explain model methodologies, assumptions, results, limitations, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
✅ Support analytics-transformation programmes involving artificial intelligence, automation, cloud technologies, and advanced modeling approaches
𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
✅ Strong hands-on experience with Python and SAS
✅ Sound understanding of predictive modeling and machine-learning approaches, including logistic regression, XGBoost, boosting, and bagging
✅ Experience across the complete model lifecycle, including data preparation, development, testing, implementation, monitoring, and recalibration
✅ Practical involvement in model documentation, governance, validation support, control frameworks, and remediation activities
✅ Strong stakeholder-management, client-communication, and presentation capabilities
✅ Experience supervising, reviewing, or mentoring analysts and consultants

The Manager – Credit Risk Strategy position is intended for professionals who understand how credit policies, portfolio strategies, and automated decisioning frameworks influence customer acquisition, portfolio quality, credit losses, revenue, and risk-adjusted returns. This role requires the ability to interpret portfolio behaviour, identify emerging risk patterns, recommend strategy changes, and coordinate their implementation across business, risk, product, operations, technology, and governance teams.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫
✅ Develop and refine credit-risk strategies covering acquisition, underwriting, account management, credit-line management, collections, and recovery
✅ Design and optimise eligibility criteria, approval thresholds, score cut-offs, credit limits, pricing frameworks, and risk-based customer segments
✅ Use application, bureau, behavioural, affordability, income, fraud, and transactional information to support lending decisions
✅ Apply scorecards, risk models, decision trees, policy rules, and automated decisioning frameworks to strengthen portfolio performance
✅ Track approval rates, booking rates, bad rates, delinquency, roll rates, flow rates, vintage performance, loss rates, utilisation, attrition, and profitability
✅ Perform portfolio segmentation, cohort analysis, trend analysis, strategy simulations, sensitivity testing, and champion-challenger assessments
✅ Evaluate how proposed strategy changes may affect customer growth, revenue, credit losses, operational outcomes, and risk-adjusted returns
✅ Identify developing portfolio risks and recommend adjustments to policies, limits, cut-offs, pricing, collections treatments, or account-management strategies
✅ Translate portfolio findings into implementable credit-policy and strategy recommendations
✅ Work with business, product, operations, technology, finance, compliance, data, and risk teams to execute approved strategies
✅ Produce governance documents, strategy papers, management reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders
✅ Lead, review, and mentor analysts or consultants involved in portfolio analytics and strategy development
𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝
✅ Experience designing or managing credit-risk strategies across one or more stages of the customer lifecycle
✅ Strong understanding of lending products such as credit cards, personal loans, consumer finance, mortgages, auto loans, or small-business lending
✅ Practical experience with credit policies, score cut-offs, approval rules, credit limits, pricing, segmentation, and automated decisioning
✅ Strong portfolio-monitoring experience covering delinquency, vintage, roll-rate, approval, loss, utilisation, and profitability measures
✅ Experience using application, bureau, behavioural, affordability, and transactional data in credit decisions
✅ Strong hands-on capability in SAS and SQL, with Python experience considered valuable
✅ Exposure to credit bureaus, decision engines, strategy-management platforms, or loan-origination systems
✅ Understanding of credit-policy governance, risk appetite, documentation, controls, approvals, and implementation processes
