Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Credit Officer based in Trivandrum. The Credit Officer will review and analyze credit applications, assess creditworthiness, and evaluate financial data to make informed loan decisions. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and managing credit portfolios, maintaining customer relationships, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and preparing thorough reports and documentation. Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines are essential for ensuring sustainable and efficient credit operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Credit Management and solid understanding of loan assessment processes
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial data and assess credit risks
- Knowledge and expertise in Finance, especially within cooperative credit systems
- Effective Communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders, and clarity in report documentation
- An understanding of credit principles, policies, and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience in credit or financial management is preferred
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a team-oriented environment
