Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit Officer, located in Shimoga. The Credit Officer will be responsible for conducting credit assessments, analyzing financial data, and evaluating loan applications to determine eligibility and risks. The individual will ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements, communicate findings effectively with stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate accurate and efficient credit processes.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Credit Management and Credit evaluation practices
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to assess financial risks effectively
- Understanding of Finance and lending processes
- Excellent Communication skills for both internal and external stakeholder interaction
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in credit assessment or related fields is preferred
- Proficiency in relevant financial tools or software is an advantage
