Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Manager role based in Supaul. The Credit Manager will oversee credit appraisal and underwriting for small and micro enterprise loan applications, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include assessing borrower creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements and cash flows, and evaluating collateral and repayment capacity. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, identifying emerging risks, and recommending corrective actions to maintain high credit quality. The Credit Manager will collaborate with branch teams and senior leadership to streamline credit processes, support business growth, and contribute to continuous improvement in risk management practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Credit Management and Credit skills for evaluating and structuring loan proposals.
- Candidates should possess solid Credit Risk Management and Analytical Skills for assessing borrower risk and portfolio performance.
- Candidates should possess a good foundation in Finance to interpret financial data and support sound lending decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment in high-volume lending environments.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with branch teams and customers.
- Relevant experience in MSME lending, banking, or NBFCs, especially in credit or risk roles, is highly beneficial.
- A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using financial analysis tools and core office software, along with the ability to adapt to new credit and workflow systems.
