The Mission
We are looking for a Credit Manager with strong experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) financing to join our corporate credit team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating credit proposals, underwriting retail and dealer cases, managing portfolio quality, and supporting business growth while maintaining prudent risk standards.
The ideal candidate should understand the EV ecosystem including OEMs, dealers, battery economics, fleet operators, and income assessment models for EV customers.
The Work Roadmap
• Evaluate and underwrite EV vehicle loan proposals including L3, passenger, commercial.
• Conduct detailed credit assessment of customers, dealers and channel partners.
• Analyze banking, bureau, surrogate income, and alternative data for decision-making.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, collections, and OEM/dealer partners for smooth loan processing.
• Support launch of new EV financing products and strategic partnerships.
• Review exceptions and deviation cases within defined authority matrix.
• Maintain TATs while ensuring portfolio quality and controlled risk exposure.
Your Toolkit
• Strong understanding of EV financing ecosystem and vehicle underwriting.
• Knowledge of retail asset products including two-wheelers, three-wheelers.
• Experience in credit appraisal.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Good stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and credit tools/platforms.
The Checklist
• 4–10 years of experience in NBFCs, Banks, or FinTechs.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in EV vehicle financing is mandatory.
• Experience in corporate credit team or centralized underwriting setup preferred.
Preferred Background
Candidates from leading NBFCs, EV-focused lenders, banks, fintech lenders, or captive finance companies with exposure to EV asset financing will be preferred.
